Mossbrook School closed 19th November 2024. We will be open as usual tomorrow, Wednesday 20th November 2024.

Welcome from the Headteacher 

The Staff and Governors at Mossbrook would like to join me in extending a warm welcome to you. This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing up to date information for parents, pupils and the wider community.

I have been at Mossbrook for just over fifteen years now, and I feel privileged to work for such wonderful children, and with a team of staff who are caring, dedicated and highly skilled.  

All staff are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. They ensure that children learn in a stimulating and welcoming environment where there is respect and tolerance for everyone. Through a broad and balanced curriculum, individuals have the chance to thrive and develop skills that will equip them for later life. 

Visitors consistently comment on our warm and friendly ethos and the positive relationships that we are able to form with our children; we may not have a brand new building or state of the art facilities, but we try to make up for this with our enthusiasm and nurturing environment.

Most of our children arrive by minibus from 8.45 am. Lessons begin at 9.10am and school finishes at 3.05pm every day, except Wednesday when school closes at 2.30pm for staff training. Children have one hour for dinner, with starts at either 12.00 or 12.30pm
